AHA Hands-On Skills Sessions
Already completed the online portion of an American Heart Association blended-learning course? Plant Medic offers instructor-led hands-on skills sessions for eligible AHA courses.
During the skills session, students practice and demonstrate the required hands-on skills with an AHA Instructor. Depending on the course, this may include CPR, AED use, ventilation, choking response, and first aid skills.
Hands-on skills sessions may be available for:
- HeartCode® BLS
- Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED
- Heartsaver® CPR AED
- Other eligible AHA blended-learning courses offered through Plant Medic
Students must complete the applicable AHA online course before attending the hands-on skills session and should bring proof of online completion.
After successful completion of all required online and hands-on components, eligible students receive the corresponding American Heart Association course completion card. AHA course completion cards are generally valid for two years.
Individual skills sessions and group scheduling are available by inquiry.
