AHA Heartsaver® CPR AED
The American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR AED course is designed for people with little or no medical training who need CPR and AED training for work, regulatory requirements, or personal preparedness.
Participants learn how to recognize cardiac arrest, perform high-quality CPR, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and respond to choking and other time-sensitive emergencies covered in the course.
Training options available through Plant Medic include:
- Scheduled public classes at our Onsted training facility
- Private group training at Plant Medic
- On-site training for businesses, organizations, and community groups
- Blended-learning hands-on skills sessions when applicable
Classroom training includes instructor-led education, hands-on practice, and required skills testing. Students who successfully complete all course requirements receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED Course Completion Card valid for two years.
Organizations seeking private or on-site CPR/AED training can use the inquiry form to request scheduling and group information.
